Adorned with a mosaic pin made of brass and copper, the mirror-polish pakkawood handles have a traditional Japanese D-Shape that tucks into the palm for unrivaled comfort and control — for both righties and lefties. Pakkawood is exceptionally dense, possess incredible strength, won't crack or split, and has high water-resistant capabilities for easy maintenance.

BLADE FEATURES
Hand sharpened to a perfect 14-degree angle per side for clean, precise cuts and amazing edge-retention, the vacuum heat treated and nitrogen-cooled blades are crafted from high carbon Japanese AUS-8 stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance. They have a Rockwell Hardness rating of 58, providing maximum strength, flexibility, and blade edge durability. AUS-8 steel also incorporates vanadium, which further improves the blade’s durability and edge retention.
